Narrative Text II

You are Blind

Love is blind. May be the quote could describes the condition of my cousin. Because of love, everything has changed to himself. Because of woman, he separated from his family and his relatives. Before he met the girl, my cousin was a very good guy. He was a nice person. He was kind to his relatives. Wherever he met him, he would say “hello” and smile to us. He was a mature and successful man. He was a hard worker. He has worked since he studied at university. He had part time job at the time. Now he works for the government as a civil servant. He used to responsible to his job. He is a businessman too. He built a shop for his parents. He loves her parents too much. He would do anything to make his parents happy. He used to obey his parents. He did not dare to say a harsh word to his parents. Moreover he never shouted to them. His parents were very proud of him. They were very disappointed when their only son changed to different person. Since my cousin had a relationship with the girl, he becomes childish, disrespectful to his parents but obedient to his girlfriend.

My cousin became childish since he had a girlfriend. Now, if he wants something, he begs it from his parents. He spends almost of his money for his girlfriend. Moreover if his money used up, my cousin would beg it to his parents. My cousin is already works. It was not suitable for him to beg something anymore from his parents. He had to wisely to spend his money. One day when his parents refuse his willing to buy a new motorcycle for his girlfriend, my cousin was very angry. He said that his parents did not love him anymore. Moreover he said that it was not fair when he already have anything for his parents but his parents refused to give him a motorcycle. When he was angry, he would move to his own house and did not come back to his home for several days. He would not let his parents knew about his condition.  His parents would worry about him.

He is also disrespectful to his parents.  When his mother asked him about his motorcycle that borrowed by his girlfriend, he shouted and said harsh word to her. He also refused to accommodate his father to go to the doctor when his father was sick. He said that he was busy. He was busy with his girlfriend.

He becomes very obedient to his girlfriend. When his girlfriend came to his house, he took a food and drink for her. He was not shy to his parents. He followed his girlfriend wherever she went. Even tough when she went to the toilet my cousin followed her and waited outside the toilet. When she sat in the terrace he also sat beside her and massaged her hands. It was very ashamed moment. The moment that I really hate, when he lent his father’s car to his girlfriend and his girlfriend broke it. He did not angry with her. Moreover he said that it was not his girlfriend’s mistake. My cousin did not act like that to his ex girlfriend. I did not understand how the girl changed my cousin.

God, please gave my cousin back to his parents. He really changed since he met the girl. He becomes childish, disrespectful to his parents and very obedient to his girlfriend. He made his parents become disappointed to him.
